How does SEND Basecamp work?  What do we actually do together ?

Every week, you'll join a live Basecamp Brief with me and a small community of parents who understand exactly what you're navigating. This is where we get into it together, what's actually happening at this stage of your child's SEND journey, how the system really works right now, and what you specifically need to do next. You bring your own situation into the room, ask your own questions, and leave knowing your next move, not just more theory.  ​Each live session - your Basecamp Brief - builds one more piece of what you need to know and be able to do, about the system, the law, and your own child.

Your Basecamp Build is a set of achievable actions, for you to take for your child's specific situation.  Between sessions, you'll put that knowledge into practice with your own child, in your own school, in your own actions.  Each week builds on the last, so nothing you do gets lost or has to start again from scratch. This isn't extra time you have to find. It's replacing the time and energy you're already spending, the worrying, the waiting, with clarity, confidence, and action for your child.

Your Navigator Portfolio is a dynamic working system, specific to your chid's situation, not a set of print outs. It becomes the blueprint for your child's particular SEND journey. It is built week by week, exactly the right tool at exactly the right time, until you have a map, bespoke to your child, your school, and your journey.It's an adaptable and dynamic tool to record what you've learned, guide your next steps and seek full accountability.  You'll keep using it long after the six weeks end, at every future meeting, every transition, every new stage of your child's journey.  You'll have the confidence and skill to keep using it, wherever that journey goes next.

 

Week by week, you'll experience a Navigator Shift, each week's learning and growth is a Waymark, bringing you closer to being SEND Navigator your child needs and professionals take seriously.
